Exhibition Opens Tonight!

We’re finally able to reveal what goes on Behind The Wall as our exhibition officially opens tonight at Lancaster City Museum!

The downstairs exhibition rooms at the Museum have been completely transformed thanks the the wonderful mix of artworks and fascinating facts about the history of the Standfast & Barracks site on display.

The Behind The Wall exhibition opens to the public from tomorrow, March 4 and runs until May 1. It’s free and is open every day apart from Mondays so there’s plenty of opportunities to see it.

If you want to know more about how the project came together, there’s a lunchtime talk next Friday – March 10 – from 1pm and a walking tour of the exhibition from 1pm on April 7. Both events are free but must be booked in advance on 01524 64637. There’s also a free drop-in family workshop with Bonker*s & Clutterbucks, the artists behind the ‘time machine’ display on March 25 from 11am-3pm.
